Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe is like a breath of fresh, relaxing air in an area crawling with hungover college kids, vape shops and bars. As soon as you open the door, the vibe of the place just calms you down, as the scents of chai, garlic and cardamom welcome you inside.: http://dlvr.it/6GBnRm

The South Indian Sampler started with a buttery masala dosa filled with a spiced mashed potato and veggie mixture. Next, was a crispy vadai – kind of like a savory indian donut made from split peas, cabbage, cilantro and spices – that melted in your mouth with each crunchy bite. On the side was a bowl of warming sambhar. On the side was a sweet and cooling coconut chutney laced with a bright cilantro bite that helped tamed the spiciness of this platter.: http://dlvr.it/6GBnMg
